ABOUT THE COURSE

Job seekers with employment barriers need job development professionals to open employer doors and influence employer hiring decisions. To be successful, job development professionals must consistently implement strategies and skills to build and maintain relationships with referable employers.

In this course, employer engagement team members will learn the foundational job development strategies and skills needed to find work for job seekers with employment barriers. The course includes a PDF Learning Journal and course certificate.


This course will support you to:

- Connect candidate and service solutions to address employer needs

Trainer:
Angela Hoyt has over 34 years of experience in the Employment Services Sector as a manager, job developer, and organizational development consultant. Angela has her Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Royal Roads University. Her thesis, The Organizational and Individual Characteristics of Successful Job Developers, included survey data from 13 Employment Service Managers and 109 Job Developers.
